The Department of State Revenue for the city of Almaty reminds that when making cash or non-cash payments for goods, works and services, the seller must use a cash register machine and issue a fiscal receipt, which can be issued in paper or electronic form.
A fiscal receipt is a legal document confirming the purchase. With the help of a receipt, you can return or exchange the goods within the time limit prescribed by law, thus protecting your rights.
The fiscal receipt must contain the following information:
- Name and IIN/BIN of the seller (taxpayer);
- The factory and registration number of the cash register;
- Receipt number, date and time of purchase;
- Product/service name, unit price, quantity, total amount;
- VAT amount and rate (if the taxpayer is a VAT payer);
- Yandex.Checkout's usage address;
- Fiscal attribute and data of the fiscal data operator;
- Barcode.
What should I do if I don't get a fiscal receipt?
In case of non-issuance of a fiscal check, citizens can file a complaint through the official e-Otinish service to the state revenue authority at the taxpayer's location.
The complaint must be accompanied by a video proof, the exact address and time, the name of the business entity, information about the purchased product, work or service, and, if possible, other information.
For the first time, a warning is issued to the taxpayer for not issuing a fiscal check. Fines are applied for repeated violations during the year.:
- for notaries, private bailiffs and small businesses – 20 MCI;
- for medium–sized businesses - 30 MCI;
- for large business entities – 40 MCI.
Also, the absence of a KKM in carrying out activities is a violation and for the first time entails a warning. Penalties are provided for repeated violations during the year.:
- for notaries, private bailiffs and small businesses – 15 MCI;
- for medium–sized businesses - 30 MCI;
- for large business entities – 50 MCI.
In addition, in order to increase the tax culture, the State Revenue Committee is holding two republican campaigns "Demand a check – win a prize" and "Baige", which will last until the end of 2025. The terms of participation are simple — you need to scan and register fiscal receipts in the Amian mobile application. Each participant gets the opportunity to win valuable prizes and a cash prize of 100 thousand tenge. The more checks there are, the greater the chance of winning.
