The Departments of State Revenue for the city of Almaty and the Almaty region held a working meeting with the delegation of Xiyan Customs (PRC). The purpose of the event is to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of customs administration and discuss topical issues of cross—border trade.

 

During the talks, the parties discussed ways to improve the efficiency of customs procedures, issues of expedited cargo clearance, as well as measures to enhance border security. Representatives of both sides shared their best practices and best practices in these areas.

 

The meeting culminated with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, which reinforces the parties' desire to develop partnership, simplify customs procedures and create favorable conditions for international trade.

 

The parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached would serve as a basis for deepening cooperation and improving the efficiency of work in the field of customs administration.
