The Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan has imposed a temporary ban on the import of certain stone products from third countries.

 

According to the amendments to Order No. 342 dated September 2, 2025, a three-month ban on imports of the following types of stone products from third countries is being introduced into the territory of Kazakhstan:

 

- Paving stones and curbstones (code 6801000000);

- Polished and decorated granite, weighing from 10 kg (code 6802931000);

- Granite for monuments and construction (code 6802939000).

 

The ban has been in effect since November 25 and applies to all modes of transport.
