In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 17 and paragraph 1 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trading Activities", subparagraph 11) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 and subparagraph 1) paragraph 2 of Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Article 29 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, ratified by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ratification of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union", as well as section 10 of Annex 7 to the said Treaty:

A ban has been imposed for a period of six months on the export of certain types of timber from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (EAEU HS: 4401, 4403, 4404, 4406, 4407), regardless of the country of origin, with the exception of the EAEU HS code 4406910000 "Wooden sleepers made of softwood for railway or tram tracks, other" and EAEU HS Code 4401310000 "Wood pellets, the country of origin of which is the Republic of Kazakhstan".
