On April 25, 2025, a round table with students of the Law Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held at the Zhetysu customs post of the Department of State Revenue in Almaty. The head of the Zhetysu customs post, N. Kulbarakov, presented the structure and workflow to the students.

 

The chief specialists of the post, A. Aliaskarova and E. Nurelov, shared their experience and advice in the customs field. The students actively participated in the discussion, expressed their opinions and asked questions. One of them asked, "What advice would you give graduates as future specialists?"

 

"In order to become a real strong and qualified specialist, inner intuition, intelligence and interest are key. In the customs sphere, it is extremely important to constantly study the legislation and know the Code well. For you, students of the Faculty of Law, this will not be difficult, because you regularly work with updated laws. A specialist in the legal field should continuously study and deepen his knowledge," stressed the head of the post, N. Kulbarakov.

 

The students got acquainted with the work of the post by watching a video prepared by specialists. At the end of the meeting, Doctor of Law, Professor K. Kozhabek and G. Aigarinova expressed gratitude to the Zhetysu customs post for the useful initiative and wished it to continue.

 

Inspired by the meeting, the students expressed great confidence in their desire to work in the customs service and devote themselves to this field.
