
On March 20 of this year, a meeting aimed at combating corruption was held at the Zhetisu customs post. The event was attended by senior prosecutors of the Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office of Almaty, D. Orazbayev and A. Taybekova, deputy heads of the Zhetisu customs post, A. Abdisalikhov, T. Ydyris, as well as customs post staff. During the meeting, the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was discussed in detail.
The first speaker was the senior prosecutor of the Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office, D. Orazbayev, who shared his opinion on corruption with the staff of the customs post. In his opinion, the anti-corruption policy should be constantly improved, taking into account public demands, national practices and best foreign practices.
The second speaker was the Senior Prosecutor of the Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office, A. Taybekova, who noted: "Anti-corruption measures have been strengthened in government agencies, and the principles of meritocracy have been introduced into the civil service system. In addition, the Code of Ethics has been introduced, as well as anti-corruption restrictions for civil servants and their family members have been tightened."
As part of the legal training and clarification, the participants were provided with detailed information about the causes of corruption and simple methods to prevent it. The staff of the Aviation Transport Prosecutor's Office stressed that it is not one person who should fight corruption, but the whole society, joining forces with government agencies and public associations. It was noted that without the personal responsibility of each person and his active struggle against this evil, it is impossible to win. In addition, questions on the topic of corruption were answered.
